Michelle Masangkay has been an acupuncturist since 2007 and is currently licensed to practice in the states of New Jersey and California. In addition she is a National-Board certified Diplomate of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Michelle completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology while minoring in Chemistry at San Francisco State University. She then received her Masters of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Science in Oakland, CA.
Michelle finds great joy in serving various communities in need; she continues to work with military veterans to help alleviate post-traumatic stress disorder and other symptoms associated with combat. She has also traveled to Haiti, as a member of Acupuncturists Without Borders, providing acupuncture to community members affected by natural disaster, environmental devastation, human conflict, and social injustice. In her free time, Michelle enjoys exploring hiking trails and spending time with family and friends.
Michelle specializes in sports injury/recovery, work injury, neck/shoulder pain, side effects associated with chemotherapy, post-operative recovery, stress relief, and emotional conditions.
